Who is Pilates for?

Pilates is a progressive form of exercise, so is suitable for those who have not exercised before and wish to get into shape, and for those who have not exercised recently and would like to regain their fitness. It is also an ideal and safe way of cross-training for those who already exercise regularly, and it is widely employed throughout the sporting world to enhance and compliment existing training programmes. With the addition now of our new Pilates studio classes, Pilates has now become even more accessible to all. If you are recovering from injury, or have a health condition that makes a Pilates mat class difficult or impossible, we would love to talk to you about how a Pilates Studio setting may well be your answer to increasing wellness.

What can Pilates do for you?

  • Improve your posture and overall body awareness
  • Correct muscle imbalances, improving body alignment
  • Reshape your body, which will become leaner and more toned as you progress
  • Engage the deep core stabilising muscles
  • Relieve unwanted stress and tension
